Dandelion Tincture (Taraxacum officinale)

$12.00

Humble dandelion is a common “weed” that some people try to kill in their lawns, however this herb is a powerful ally to keep close and remember to use in times of need.

Dandelion root and leaf are blood purifiers, helping cleanse and move toxins out of the body. As a bitter digestive, dandelion relieves tummy upset in the short term, and in the long term will support healthy liver and kidney function and heal the gut. Use fresh leaves in salad and soups to increase the nutritional value.

Dandelion is an herb of the Sun, bringing light and sunshine while dispelling dark energy. In ritual work, dandelion can be used to conjure hope, courage and confidence.

The leaf, flower and root of dandelion are harvested, cut and steeped in alcohol for at least 8 weeks, then strained and bottled.

Instructions: Place 1-3 dropperfuls of tincture in a small glass of water or directly under the tongue. Best taken between meals, take as needed. Consult with a trusted herbalist or physician if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other medications.

Our promise: The herbs in every one of our products are grown and harvested at Orchard Hill Gardens mirroring the cycles of nature and using natural farming methods. No harmful chemicals are used on our plants, ever.
